Brown crocheted handbag. Circular shape with long fringe at the bottom. Interior lined with brown cotton and decorated with row of small, colored silk flowers at top. Beige plastic link strap. Beige plastic closure at top resembling the body of a dragonfly surrounded by cattails. Closure fastened by attached plastic piece in the shape of a woman’s head. Closure resembles pendant designed by Rene LaLique, ‘Dragonfly Woman Corsage Ornament’ c.1897-1897 at the Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon, Portugal. Interior label: (imprinted on interior of platic closure) “MADE IN FRANCE”
