DescriptionMantle-shaped hanging(?) made up of pieces of Albanian costume. Swirling arabesques, various shapes and stylezed floral motives in couched, twisted metallic yarns, resembling a chain stitch, on a red velvet ground. Extensive, couched repairs. Badly worn in some areas; lines.
