DescriptionHanging or prayer mat of natural plain-weave cotton with design of mihrab (niche) compposed of staggered rows of repeating tree-of-life (boteh) motif; around this is a series of frames with floral vine and boteh motifs; across the bottom is a horizontal band with chevron pattern; predominatly blue, red and tan on a white cotton ground; lined.
