DescriptionCircular medal of probably Henri Charles Ferdinand Marie Dieudonné (1820-1883), comte of Chambord, commemorating his birth.

Obverse: Winged male (probably Saint Michael) holding a shield in proper left hand and raised sword in right, standing on demon/serpent figure that holds a sword and a torch; inscribed above "29 SEPT 1820" and below "GAYRARD F".

Reverse: Woman reclining on a daybed, presenting a nude child to proper right with a sculpted bust of a man (possibly Charles X) at proper left and rays of light above; inscribed above "DIEU NOUS L'A DONNE" and in exergue "NOS.COEUR ET NOS ERAS/SONT A LUI".
