DescriptionA tapering hoop earring with a lion-griffin terminal at one end. The hoop is made of plain wire wound around a gold core. The lion-griffin head is mold-made with ear, horn and knob details added in beaded wire. It was made in two halves. A collar decorated with beaded wire S-scrolls and a row of petals joins the terminal to the hoop. This earring forms a pair with 01.8159.
