This group of fragments of an incised red polished jar appears to be mostly from the same original vessel with the exception of at least one fragment from an incised redware vessel. It is possible that some of the red polished fragments represent additional original vessels.
From Kerma, grave 5534. 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
