Cap crown set off by insertion band of lace, in center of cap crown a whirling star motive made up of minute leaves on slender stems, on forehead band a serpentine with sprays of small-scale flowers and leaves, border across front edge of forehead band of paired leaves on center stems, some details of design in open work with net appliqué, in background of design all over powder of minute eyelet and cresent; drawstrings across face and back edges; much yellowed and stained.
