Infant’s cap of fine white linen, cap crown fullness gathered into top of forehead band, band of Binche lace down center back of cap crown, band of English bobbin lace in center of upper forehead band, lower forehead band plain, both forehead bands edged with narrow Binche lace, seams hemstitched and trimmed with minute herringbone stitch worked with fine linen thread, a narrow linen tape drawstring in back of crown; many small brown spots.
