Hard-paste porcelain decorated in polychrome enamels and gold. Barrel-shaped inkwell is divided into three horizontal registers by stave-like gold bands. Middle register has landscapes separated by three coats of arms; top and bottom registers each have three landscapes in cartouches on light blue ground decorated with gilt fleur-de-lis. Cover of inkwell has finial and two landscape scenes, two coats of arms.

Markings

Mark: on base, in underglaze blue: crossed swords.
