DescriptionInner coffin lid of Ankh-pef-hor. Formerly 72.4836. Anthropoid. Wood with coating of gesso and red-brown paint. Wig composed of red and bllue stripes with a red, white and blue diagonal net pattern near face. Face gessed and gilded with eyes outlined in black. Hands are applied. Fair condition, numerous surface chips and cracks. Small top board at foot end missing. Column of black hieroglyphs down center; standard funerary offering formula.
