DescriptionOne of three inlays in the form of a winged giraffe with head lowered to the ground. These once formed part of a panel on the footboard of a funerary bed.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma: K309. 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University-Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
