This jabot consists of two terminals separated by a gold pinstem. Each terminal has a pave-set diamond dove with a tiny cabochon ruby eye perched within a little bird house with the door frame and roof decorated with calibre sapphires.
Each terminal is stamped on the back "DEPOSE" indicating it left the country. An impressed unidentified mark appears on pinstem.
Early 20th-century, with donor's grandmother; by descent to present owner; gift to the MFA (Accession date: September 16, 2009)
