Circular medal of Joseph I (1678-1711), Holy Roman Emperor, king of Hungary and Bohemia, and archduke of Austria, commemorating his coronation as Holy Roman Emperor. Pierced at top and beaded on both faces.
Obverse: Upright sword entangled with a branch at center with a sun containing a triangle and rays above; inscribed at edge “+AMORE·ET·TIMORE+”.
Reverse: Crown over inscription; inscribed at edge “+AMORE·ET·TIMORE+”.
Obverse: Inscribed at edge "+AMORE·ET·TIMORE+".
Reverse: Inscribed below crown "IOSEPHO I/ROM:IMP:HVNG:ET/BOH:REGI·/ARCHIDVCIAVSTRIAE/HOMA·PRAESTATVR/VIENNAE 22 SEPT/17[bird]05".
