DescriptionCircular medal of Joseph II (1741-1790), Holy Roman Emperor, commemorating his coronation in Frankfurt (April 3, 1764).

Obverse: Bust of Joseph II looking to proper left, in high relief, wearing a crown; inscribed at edge "DOMINE SALVUM FAC/REGEM P.S:XIX.v.10" and under bust "KRAFFT.F".

Reverse: Coronation ceremony in Frankfurt; inscribed in exergue "IOSEPHUS II.ARCHID:AUST:/ ELECT:ET.CORON: ROMREX/ FRANCOF:ANNO 1764".
