DescriptionAttributed to Claude Michel Clodion (1737-1814). Young nude girl reclining on drapery, leaning on urn with water flowing from it. Left arm outstretched, leaning on right arm, knees bent, eyes downcast. On rectangular base.
ProvenanceApril 19, 1876, possibly in Anonymous sale, Paris, lot 3 [see note 1]. By 1960, Mrs.Sidney T. Allen, Manchester, Ma; 1960, gift of Mrs. Allen to the MFA. (Accession date: November 9, 1960)
