Lighting devices

The handle, cast separately and joined at double rings of base and body, ends in the head of a griffin; the stem forms his neck and tufted mane. The lower part, the medallion in the bottom, is missing. Lid and swivel-pin also gone. Some encrustation; even light green patina beneath. Boss in center of griffin’s head is also broken away.
