DescriptionOne border of silk compound satin woven with blue, white and taupe in three pieces. Lion's head at top and bottom (one at bottom joined upside down). Scrolls of vegetation in central portion ending in caryatid. Same design as side border of bed cover 53.2093. Lined with white silk. Good condition. From set of bed furnishings brought to Boston by Capt. James Swan.
