This large globular jar is made of a reddish clay. It has a rounded base, a straight, slightly flaring neck, and a slightly rolled rim. It has been treated with a white wash, some of which has worn away.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1088/3. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
