DescriptionSingle folio from a dispersed copy of a monumental Qur'an; 3 lines of Arabic calligraphy on the recto and verso; chapter heading for Sura 112 [al-ʾIkhlāṣ] in the thuluth-ashʿār (golden thuluth) script; illuminated rosette verse markers with blue centers and red dots; teardrop marginal medallion with the word khamsa (five) written in gold and set against a blue background marking the end of a fifth verse.
