Plain weave cotton printed to simulate pieced quilting, commonly referred to as “cheater cloth.” The textile features 22 different simulated pieced textiles, organized into an overall design based on traditional “Mariner’s Compass” and “pinwheel” quilt patterns. Varieties of the “pieced” textiles include small-patterned geometrics, florals, and paisley prints in shades of orange, mustard yellow, olive greens, and blue.
