Painting with decorative borders, mounted on support panel. Would have originally been in thangka format.

Blue-skinned Pelden Lhamo rides a buff-colored mule through billowing smoke and flames. She carries a staff and a skull cup. Above at center is Amitayus, with a blue-skined wrathful goddess on horse or mule at left and yellow wrathfull goddess on deer at right. In lower left corner is red-skinned wrathfull goddess on buffalo. In lower right is blue-skined one on camel. Central figure is accompanied by a blue figure wearing an animal head (?) on the left and a similar red figure on right.
