Linen valance, linen browned, probably by the sun, woven with a geometric diaper pattern, divided into squares by drawn work and into panels of six squares by bands of bobbin lace, in the center of each square a small radiating stylized floral pattern worked with green and pink wool, flowers in lower right hand square worked with blue linen and pink wool, stylized flower worked with blue linen in the corner of each square, band of bobbin lace across bottom and linen fringe in alternating blocks of blue and white eges three sides.
