Obverse: Profile bust of Louis XIII looking to proper left, wearing lace collar, armor, and Nemean lion skin; inscribed at edge "LVDOVIC[VS].XIII D[EI].G[RATIA].FRANCOR[VM].ET NAVARAE REX" and under bust "G.DVPRÉ".

Reverse: Seated Justice looking to proper left, holding a sword in right hand and a scale in left with the constellation Libra depicted above; inscribed at edge "VT.GENTES.TOLLAT.QVE.PREMAT.QVE" and "1623".
