Obverse: Profile bust of Louis looking to proper left, wearing laureate wreath; inscribed at edge “LVDO·XIII·D·G·FR·ET·NA·REX·CHRISTIANISSIMVS” and “1614”.

Reverse: Profile bust of Marie de’Medici looking to proper right, wearing high collared dress; inscribed at edge “MARIA·AVGVSTA·MED·FR·REG·MODERATRIX”.
