Obverse: Profile bust of Louis XIV looking to proper left; inscribed at edge "LUDOVICUS XIIII·REX CHRISTIANISS." and under bust "I·MAVGER·F·".

Reverse: Prostate male (Dunkirk ?) at proper left with prow of ship behind offering keys to standing Louis XIV at proper right, wearing armor; inscribed at edge "DUNKERCA ACQUISITA" and in exergue "XXVII OCTOBRIS/M·DC·LXII·".
