Circular uniface medal of Louis XVI (1754-1789), king of France, and his family arriving in Paris (1789) before their execution. A crowd of people gathered around royal carriage at proper right with Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, the dauphin, and another man approaching stage with soldiers infront of city buildings and equestrian monument; inscribed on band above “ARRIVÉE DU ROI A PARIS”, below “ANDRIEU·F· NO.2”, and in exergue “LE 6 OCTOBRE/1789”.
