DescriptionRectangular violet-red, natural white and metallic gold silk cloth with warp fringe on each end. The primary design is of repeating narrow stripes with irregular chevrons in violet-red, red and natural white created by the warp ikat technique. The entire piece is woven with an overall pattern of supplemental gold weft thread.
