This figure from a wooden model depicts a striding man with left leg forward. The skin is painted a deep reddish-brown. A short wig is painted black. The eyes are accented with black and white. The figure is clothed in a short kilt, painted white. There is a hole in the left hand for placement of an implement or stick. If a left foot was carved originally, it has broken off with the lower portion of the leg. The right “foot” is carved as a peg for attachment to a larger model scene.
