DescriptionMaterial: silk. Design: (formed by tied and dyed warp threads; (red weft), bold conventionalized floral forms in dark neutral violet, red, yellow, and bluish green on a white ground toned by the red weft. The coat is lined brilliant pinkish red cotton, with outer band of ikat dyed silk, interlined with cotton wadding, and edged with woven band of reddish violet yellow and green. Worn, torn, and stained.
