DescriptionMan's court robe (jifu) with dark blue ground; across the bottom are stylized waves and mountain (cosmic landscape); above which are dragons, clouds, bats, fruit, baskets of flowers and other auspicious symbols woven with various shades of blue, pink, red, yellow, brown, gray, green, and white silk and gold-wrapped thread; the collar and cuffs are also of tapestry, but the ground is of a darker shade of blue; the bottoms of the sleeves are of black velvet; lined with light blue silk satin. Original cuffs and facings to match.
