Man’s semi-formal summer court robe (jifu) in blue silk gauze with design in couched gold-wrapped thread of dragons, clouds, waves and Buddhist symbols; sleeves with repeating narrow bands of gold couching on a black silk gauze ground and horse-shoe cuffs with design of dragons and clouds in gold couching; side front opening with gold knotted button and loop closure.
