Bronze, ormolu, enameled dial. Winged putto with bow in left hand, holding two birds above head in right hand standing on clouds mounted on a black patinated orb inset with stars. Orb inset with clock face adorned with band of laurel leaves. Resting on an octagonal stepped base decorated with five plaques: central plaque of putto picking up a globe. Flanked by both a torch and laurel leaf plaque and a feminine masque on each side. With winding key. Inscription: ‘a Paris’ on clock face.
