DescriptionHead of goddess (possibly Aphrodite?) with wavy hair, wearing high crown. The lower register is ornamented with two sea horses confronting; between them a large round dot. In top of crown small round perforation.
ProvenanceProbably from Naukratis. Excavated by the Egypt Exploration Fund; assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund by the government of Egypt; given to the MFA by the Egypt Exploration Fund, 1886.
