Obverse: Fallen soldier at proper right being supported by Norse warrior figure; standing frontal Athena figure behind; inscribed above “DE TOVS LES PEVPLEs/DE LA CA[ ]ES BELGEs/SONT LE[ ]P[ ]RAVE” and at bottom in cursive script “George Petit 1917”.
Reverse: Inscribed above in wreath “AVX MORTS/POVR/LA PATRIE”, below uninscribed text block, and under text block “·J·LISSOIR· ·LIÈGE·”.
