Warp of linen; ground of greenish-yellow wool; design of a candelabra tree motif flanked by two affronted birds at the top and two affronted animals in the lower half of the medallion, woven with dark blue, green and red wool and natural-colored linen; the ground of the border is red wool with small crosses woven with light green wool and natural-colored linen; framed by a narrow plain border of dark brown wool. Design shows Byzantine influence.
