DescriptionThis miniature globular jar is of the Predynastic Egyptian "D-ware" style. It has a small flat base, folded rim, and two lug handles (one of which is broken). Red painted horizontal wavy lines cover the exterior surface.
ProvenanceFrom Gedekol (ASN 76/64). 1908. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
