DescriptionThis blue glass amphoriskos stands on a short, dimpled foot. The belly of the vessel is ribbed, and two handles connect is smooth shoulder to its rim. Several colored trails of light blue and yellow color decorate the neck of the vessel in uneven circumference bands, while the belly is covered in zigzag patterns of the same color. Below the belly where the vessel narrows to meet the foot, more lines of colors decorate the vessel. The amphoriskos is weathered, with encrustation and discoloration visible across its surface.
