DescriptionThis silver-covered handle in the form of a lotus blossom once held the reflective disk, 20.1789a. The handle is now in four pieces with smaller fragments, severely corroded corroded.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, K III, 309. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
