DescriptionAt the end of the handle, a seated lion; at the joint with the disc, a crouching boar. Somewhat smoothed by wear. Brown-black patina.
Similar mirrors have been excavated on the northern shores of the Black Sea. The crouching animals suggest influence from Scythian art.
