DescriptionEcclesiastical costume (miter). Eight figures on front, back arranged in inverted T: Christ at top front, Virgin at top back, Church officials at bottom both sides; other figures Saints. Polychrome silk, silver, gilt-silver yarns solidly embroidered on linen ground, trimmed in pearls, glass stones, gilt-metal framework; some paint on silks. Red silk lining; white compound woven silk top interior.
