DescriptionOne of a large collection of tools and vessels found in the same intact tomb, this poorly preserved copper model takes the form of a neckless shouldered jar with a flat base. Actual vessels of this type are common in pottery.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, G 2381A (tomb of Impy). 1912: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
