This wooden tomb model depicts a Nubian soldier. The figure is painted black with a brownish-red kilt with prominent front flap used in Egyptian models of Nubian figures. Incised details have been added to the short hair style. He is in a striding pose with left leg advanced. His right arm is bent up to hold a staff or hunting bow, while the left arm is held down at his side. The arms are carved separately from the body, but are still articulated with the shoulders by small pegs.
