Square moon shawl (chandar) of wool twill tapestry with design in main field of cream ground covered with repeating rows of minute stylized floral motifs, central “moon” medallion composed of small buti motifs in red, green, yellow and black, four quarter medallions in each corner of same pattern; narrow guard bands of floral meander on four outer edges.
