Moon shawl (chandar) of cashmere twill tapestry with cream white ground covered with small bird motifs in red and blue; central “moon” medallion composed of small butis in blue, red and pale green; narrow white wool guard band (hashia) with design of floral meander in blue, green, red and yellow-orange, added later; cream white wool fringe stitched on four sides; some fine hand-painting in green.
