Black enamelled band with inscription in gold surrounded by two bands of raised floral design in gold. May be missing original hair compartment.
"John Lane, esq., died 17 Nov., 1826, aged 71" along inside. "J.A. / MEMORY / OS" in gold and black enamel.
English Hallmarks- bust, crown, 18, lion mask, lower case m, and initials in smaller stamp AJ(?) along inside band.
