DescriptionMummy mask and fragments from a cartonnage mask belonging to a woman. The skin is painted yellow, the eyes and eyebrows are outlined in black, and the tripartite wig is striped with alternating red, blue, green and yellow.
ProvenanceFrom Sheikh Farag, tomb 5202. 1912-1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1923: assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
