DescriptionBody of bamboo with four nodes, shaped to point at distal end and open along one side except for 95 mm at proximal end. Strung with brass wire (diameter 0.48 mm), tied to notch at distal end and wrapped around lateral tuning peg of wood at proximal end. Remnants of older (?) brass wire (of two diameters, 0.38 mm & 0.78 mm) on tuning peg. In ink on body: Transvaal.
