DescriptionWhite linen damask napkin showing an apocryphal story of Daniel in the lion's den. Design is a reverse repeat from left to right. Condition: fairly good. Some darns showing on close inspection. Slightly worn on one spot on one of the former folds. Inscriptions: (below) O Lord, be with me (above) to escape death. Satin of 5. Warp 34 (33.5-34.5) threads/cm. Weft 54.5 (53-56) threads/cm.
