Reverse: Crown above and two eagles flanking three portrait medallions: bust of Napoléon III at proper right looking to proper left, bust of Eugenie de Palafox Guzman at proper left looking to proper right, and below bust of Napoléon-Louis looking to proper right; inscribed at edge of each portrait medallion, at proper right “NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR”, at proper left “EUGENIE IMPERATRICE”, and below “NAPOLEON E.L.J.J.PRINCE IMPERIAL”.
