Linen bed curtain with polychrome wool embroidered branching stem border with two columns of sprigs down the center; leaves, blossoms and fillings in New England laid stitch (Roumanian couching), dark blue stems in chain stitch, dark blue veins in leaves in stem stitch; tulip in border in tight rows of chain stitch
